A girl with Moebius Syndrome. Her paralysis of facial muscle deprives her of ability to smile and move eyeballs. And even she cannot completely close her eyes. Since this, she is not able to make friends and socialize. Others might consider her as retarded child or not interested or absent for something.
Taking the situation that people are under such surgeries or facial distortion - Pulling, extruding. Taking ‘D’ from Deveney in pentagon shape.
Putting assembly type design into jewelry, I want people to look under such surgeries in this jewelry and ‘audiences’ will feel scared and put more value on their ability of smiling. This way is similar to that putting ‘scary’ pictures on cigarette packages.

Don’t forget to smile as you are still able to
The most attractive expression is smiling since orbicularis oris becomes a regular pentagon when people smile.
For the practical aspect, the round acrylic ‘pendant’ can be pinned on clothes as a brooch that is completely integrated with chain and earwear part. People can style it and assemble it in a free way.
